203 – Vintage Stratocaster
Price range: $65.00 through $170.00
A slightly hotter pre-CBS recipe with warmer mids and smoother highs for classic early Strat tone.
The 203 Vintage Stratocaster pickups are designed for players who want a fuller pre-CBS single coil tone with more midrange presence and smooth top end. Built with AlNiCo III magnets and heavy formvar wire, they deliver round lows, vocal mids, and softened highs while maintaining the responsiveness of vintage pickups. Chords retain character while gaining warmth and body, while single notes sustain smoothly with bell-like clarity.
Perfect for:
- Blues, classic rock, indie
- Everyday gigging and recording
- Players who need warmth without losing clarity
