302 – Heritage Special PAF
Price range: $120.00 through $210.00
Slightly hotter PAF-style humbuckers with rich mids, tight lows, and smooth highs.
The 302 Heritage Special builds on the classic 1959 PAF design developed by Seth Lover by increasing the output to give a bit more push for driven tones. Built with butyrate bobbins and AlNiCo II magnets, these pickups give slightly hotter output and fuller mids while keeping the vintage clarity and dynamic response that made PAFs legendary. Bass is richer without getting muddy, mids are forward but musical, and highs remain smooth and articulate.
Perfect for:
- Vintage rock, blues, and early hard rock
- Chord work, fingerpicking, and expressive leads
- Players who want slightly hotter PAF tone with added warmth
